Her entrepreneurial spirit took hold in high school, where she supported local businesses with everything from scheduling and bookkeeping to inventory and tax-prep; igniting her lifelong passion for helping people, solving problems, and building stronger workplaces.
With over two decades of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, project management, corporate system deployments, and Human Resources; Brooklyn brings a rare blend of employment law expertise, operational strategy, and people-first leadership to every client engagement. She's lead ERP system implementations, HCM and HRIS deployments, built HR departments from the ground up, and advised over 100 companies across industries.
As the founder of HR Bureau, she partners directly with CEO's, founders, and executive teams as their first line of defense in employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance. Through her signature "First Response" HR model, Brooklyn helps business leaders avoid costly mistakes and build custom, scalable HR systems that fuel sustainable growth.
Based in Kalamazoo for over 26 years, Brooklyn lives with her husband and is part of a proud first responder family.
